FAQs about 9D breathwork journeys

Do I need any prior experience with breathwork to join a session?

The London Wellbeing and Nutrition Clinic

No prior experience with breathwork is required. 9D Breathwork is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their previous experience. I will guide you through the process, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported throughout the session.

What do I need to bring bring or prepare for my session?

The London Wellbeing and Nutrition Clinic

You will be lying down so please bring a yoga mat and if you want a little mat. I'll provide you with an eye mask and the headphones. It is also recommended to bring lip balm to help with dry lips and bottled water.

Avoid eating a large meal 2.5 hours before the session, but don't come too hungry as your will need the energy for the breathwork. Please wear comfortable clothing (ie, loose clothing or yoga attire) as you will be doing continuous active breathing for extended period of time. Some participants may find the experience intense. Plan on resting or taking it easy for a few hours after your session.

What is a 9D Breathwork Journey like?

The London Wellbeing and Nutrition Clinic

After selecting and booking your desired appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with all relevant information. The advantage of an offline (live) session is that you can experience this journey with like-minded individuals (and of course with me). You can relax and fully immerse yourself in the journey, with me there to support you.

I provide special headphones that allow you to experience this sound journey. After the session, there is a brief exchange and feedback round, after which you can relax and head home.

What should I do after a breathwork session?

The London Wellbeing and Nutrition Clinic

After a breathwork session, take some time to rest and reflect. Drink plenty of water and allow yourself to process any emotions or insights that may arise. It’s important to integrate the experience into your daily life for lasting benefits.

How often can I participate in a 9D Journey?

The London Wellbeing and Nutrition Clinic

I get this question after every session because participants are so enthusiastic

And I can certainly understand that, but we must remember that these journeys go very deep and have a significant (subconscious) impact. Therefore, I always recommend giving your body a few days to process. Once a week is the shortest interval I recommend for participants who have only done one or two sessions.

The ideal interval is 1-2 weeks over a longer period (about 3-6 months) to achieve sustainable, long-term, and especially profound changes in your subconscious beliefs, patterns, and limitations (I also offer suitable programs for this).

Can anyone participate in a 9D Breathwork Journey?

The London Wellbeing and Nutrition Clinic

Yes and no. Theoretically, yes, but the journeys are very intense (I often compare them to an intense workout). And as with exercise, there are certain pre-existing conditions that require caution.

Within the sessions, however, I provide variations to the breathing techniques, so theoretically it is possible for everyone to participate (if I am informed about pre-existing conditions). Legally, I must ensure and inform that there are risks with conditions such as:

  • Cardiovascular problems, abnormally high blood pressure / very high resting pulse, extremely low blood pressure / very low resting pulse, aneurysms

  • Epilepsy and seizures

  • If you are taking strong medications

  • Severe psychiatric symptoms, particularly psychosis or paranoia, bipolar disorders

  • Osteoporosis, recent surgeries, glaucoma

  • A current pregnancy

  • Asthma (people with asthma should bring their own inhaler and consult their doctor or breathing coach before participating)

People who are in an emotional or spiritual crisis, or people with a mental illness who are not receiving treatment or adequate support, should also not participate.

If you have specific questions about this, feel free to contact me.
